After my husband and I got married, We incorporated our family traditions, but decided to create a few of own.  One of the traditions we initiated was doing a different  Christmas themed outing at Christmas like going to the Fox Theatre to see the Rockettes or the Wayne County Lightfest etc.

My first 2 page layout I did was for some of my pictures from our christmas outing to Crossroads Village.   The Paper is Doodlebug and the title was a SVG file from Miss Kate's cutables.  I used my Silhoutte Cameo and purchased the other svg files from the Silhouette Store for this layout.  I cut the tree and Santa's clothes from glitter paper.

My second page layout will be for the pictures of our dog with reindeer ears.  I wasn't able to get the pictures printed from Walgreen in time for the hop!!! But I still wanted to share the layout with you. The svg files Ho Ho Holidays  are from Scrapping Bug Designs. The paper I used for this layout is from Hobby Lobby.

Thank you for stopping by.  I hope you enjoyed my project.   Your

I absolutely love Christmas.  It is my favorite holiday of the year.  As a child, I remember my grandmother always making sure to get a new Christmas Wreath.  So, I try to carry on the tradition, by making a Christmas wreath every couple of years.

For my project today,  I made a large Mesh Christmas wreath and a small mesh candle ring.   I used the 2-1/2in. mesh for both wreaths.  For the large wreath, I did 3 colors so I cut 9 strips of each color at 24 inches for a total of 27 strips.  I made loops and wired them with pipe cleaners.  First I started with 3 green loops and wired them to the wreath, then 3 white loops, next 3 red loops and repeated this pattern all the wreath. I added a snowflake bow, snowman floral stick as well as red sparkle poinsettias and some glitter christmas lightbulb picks.

For  the small mesh candle ring,  I cut 5 strips of each color at 12 in. for a total of 15.  On this ring,  I started with one green loop, then one white loop and then one green loop all around the wreath.  I added little ribbon bows throughout the ring as well as little Christmas ornaments and poinsettias.  Now, I need to add is a candle in the middle.

I want to wish Rachelle a very Happy Birthday! Now unto my project...

I decided to make this cute and quick birthday cards.  Both bases on the cards were 10x7 and score at 5.  I used brown cardstock for the base on Sweet Birthday wishes.  I cut 4 3/4x6 3/4 of Floral paper and adhered it to the card base.   Next, I cut a strip 3x5 from the brown cardstock and a strip 2 3/4x4 3/4 from Pink Strip pattern paper.  I adhered the pink striped on top of the brown cardstock then adhered the strips in the middle of the card.  I cut another strip 1 1/2x 4 3/4 from pink writing paper and used a border scallop punch then adhered it to the top of the card.   Using my Cricut Explore, I cut out the floral tag with circle and fancy title with mat.  I stamped a cupcake on the white circle and colored it with my copic markers.  On the sprinkles, I used my clear glaze pen. I adhered the cupcake circle to the brown flower with pop dots then adhered it to the card.  I also used Martha Stewart pink glitter pen around the edge of the white circle.  I also used the pen on the faux stitching in the center of the brown flower.   I stamped the "Sweet Birthday Wishes" onto the pink writing tag.  I adhered the pink writing to the brown shaped mat and to the card.  I attached a pink bow and little pearls to the circles in the scallop edge.

My next card had a white card base. I cut a green 4 1/2x6 1/2 piece and adhered it to the card.  I cut 4 1/4x6 1/4 dot print pattern and adhered it to the green.  From red cardstock I cut 3 1/2 square and 1 1/2x4 1/4 strip.  I used the scallop punch edge on one edge of the strip and adhere it to the bottom of the card then attached a white ribbon with knot in the middle.  I cut a white 3 1/4 square and adhered it to the red square then attached to the center of the card.  I used my cricut explore to cut out the cupcake, bubblegum machine and happy birthday.  I pop dotted them to the card and also used Martha Stewart glitter pens to accent the letters, bubble gum, candle, flame and flower.  I used clear glaze pen on the edges of the frosting of the cupcake and the globe of bubblegum machine.

I hope you enjoyed my cards and thank you for stopping by.
Your Next stop is Mary.

Now unto my project...

I chose to make little candy baskets filled with candy goodies for an upcoming crop at a friend's home this week.  Unfortunately, the crop was cancelled so the good news is I have one of these little baskets to give away as blog candy.  You need to be a follower and leave a comment.

I started by using a plain white berry basket I purchased at Michaels

.   I decorated the outside rim with Pink Plaid washi tape from Joanns.

Then, I threaded hot pink sheer ribbon(Joanns) through the bottom slats and tied a bow at the front with the ends.

I also made a couple of treat coverings for a couple of the treats.  First, I made a quick little decorative candy bar box for the Nestle Crunch candy bar.

I cut the Purple Cardstock to 8.5 x 7.5.  Next, I scored the 7.5 side at 2, 2.5, 5 and 5.5.  I turned the cardstock to 8.5 side and scored at 6, 6.5.  I flipped it over so the other 8.5 side and lightly scored it at 6 to use as guide when I cut the diagnol cut at the top.  I folded at all of the score lines except the top 8.5 score line.  I cut the bottom 8.5 at 6.5 line.  At this point, I also cut a diagnol from the corner of left 8.5 top  6 lightly scored line, then repeated this same method on the right 8.5 top.  I assembled my box.  Beside putting adhesive on the bottom flaps, I put adhesive on the inside of the top overlapping flap.  Using blue cardstock, I cut a 3.5 x 7.5 strip.  I scored the strip at 2, 2.5, 5 and 5.5.    I used one of my Martha Stewart border punches on each edge of the blue stripe then folded along score lines.  I wrapped the blue strip around the purple box and adhere it at the overlap of the blue stripe edges.  Using rainbow stripe pattern paper, I cut a strip 2 1/4 x 7.5.  I scored the strip at  2, 2.5, 5 and 5.5.  Once again, I folded this strip along lines and wrapped it around blue strip on purple box then adhering at the overlap of the strip.

I cut a Pink Circle Scallop Tag-Cut at 2 in. using my Cricut  Explore(SVG file from Little Scraps of Heaven) and using George I cut a 1 1/2 in circle which I adhered to the Pink Circle.  Using my crop a dile, I punched a small hole in one of the scallops.   I wrapped purple ribbon around the Candy Bar box and ran it through the hole in the pink scallop tag.  I tied a knot and made a bow. Finally, I slipped a Nestle Crunch Bar into the purple candy bar box.

Next, I made a cute little box for the tic tacs. I cut 3x5 Hot Pink cardstock  and scored each side of the 5 inch side at 2 7/8.  I rounded all four corners with a corner rounder.  I cut a 2 3/4 x 1 7/8 white cardstock piece.  I rounded only the right two corners.  I cut 17 inches of hot pink ribbon and adhered it between the white cardstock and hot pink cardstock about an inch from the top.  One end of the ribbon is meant to wrap around the book and tie with the other end.  Using my CM circle cutter, I cut a 1in hole near bottom so the tic tacs will show through. I folded along the score lines and using glue dots I adhered the tic tacs to the inside back.  After folding cover shut, I tied the ribbon ends together to form a bow.  Using some pink daisy flowers, I pop dotted them onto the top of the front cover of the tic tac booklet  near the top of hot pink cardstock.  The petal hangs slightly over the hole but doesn't cover it so you can see the candies.  You can find a diagram at Stampin Up consultant Rochelle Wick's blog.

For the Butterfly smartie candy holder, I cut a layered butterfly with my Cricut Explore at 4.09 inches from Wall Décor & More.  Then, I ran the top layer(purple) through my Xyron machine and then adhered it to the bottom (pink) layer.  I folded their wings up, and used glue dots to attached the smartie roll to the butterfly body.I used Scrappy Cat Pink Glitter Glue in the pink areas of the butterly and I outlined the edge of the butterfly wings and antennas with Scrappy Cat Purple Glitter Glue.

Finally, I filled the basket with shredded pink paper and put a pink paper lace doily on top.  I proceeded to carefully place my decorative candy boxes in the berry box and also added some penny candy in pink purple and blue colors to the basket.  Well, thanks for stopping by and don't forget to leave a comment so you can win some blog candy.
Your Next SWEET stop is ANGELA.
Here is a list of the line up. Just in case if you get lost:
