I made a Scrapbook Page in a Album Frame for Amy.   She loves Pink and Alice in Wonderland, so I went with that theme.   Here is the layout before I put it in the frame.  The paper is from Reminsce and features Alice in Wonderland along with her mad hatter little friends, The Rabbit and the Cheshire Cat.   What birthday wouldn't be complete without a tea party.   I used the sticker by Reminsce and jazzed them up a little.   I used stickels on the Title, the Flowers and the Scalloped frame.  A little stickles on the Rabbit's tie, the center of the flowers on the cups and drops from the drink me potion.  I used a glaze pen on the rabbit's features.   And I used crystal lacquer on the pocket watch.  I added a little ribbon.

Welcome to the Shabby Accents Blog Hop!

If you have arrived here from Janet Nagai http://www.createatdreamscrapbooks.blogspot.com/ you are on the right track. If not, please start Theresa Neubaum - http://www.scrappyartcrafters.blogspot.com/

The shabby chic style has been around for many many years, originating from Great Britain, where time worn items were showcased in most country homes. Today’s essence of shabby chic is to achieve that time worn layered vintage look from yesteryear by painting, distressing, dying or tea staining. Now we bring it to you right from our craft tables.

Please follow along as the following crafters showcase their handmade Shabby Chic Accents. Be sure to visit each blog, as each artist will be having a giveaway. Also, we have a couple of awesome sponsors who have generously donated for a “Grand Prize Giveaway”. Their shops are full of shabby goodness. To qualify, all you have to do is become a follower if not already and leave a comment on each blog stating you are a follower, or have become one.

The Hearts are cut at 1 3/4 Doodlecharms.  Stickers and ribbon are Recollections.
Stickers and Chipboard Accents from Recollections and KandCompany.

World Wide Marriage Day Blog Hop-Day One

Welcome to the Worldwide Marriage Day Blog Hop! We are thrilled that you decided to join us today as we celebrate our Marriages! World Marriage Day is a day set aside on the second Sunday in February to honor the faithfulness and joy of daily married life. We are Celebrating the lifelong commitment of husband and wife.

This Hop is Hosted by Tina from Crafty and Green .  If you've hopped along from The Fantastic KIMBERLY, then you are in the right place!! If you are just joining me from your dashboard, or reading this via email, please be sure to start at the beginning with Crafty and Green (We wouldn't want you to miss a THING!!).

My projects are layouts of my wedding for my wedding album.  We got married outside at our favorite park.  It was suppose to be in a Gazebo, but right at the time we were to get married, a storm came in.  So we got married in the shelter where the reception was to be held.   We were still drenched and in some of the pictures I look like a drowned rat.   However after the ceremony and we dried off, we got a couple of nice pics in the gazebo(Last Layout).  My wedding was far from perfect, but as our family and friends recall it was the "Perfect Wedding Storm"  I will never forget it.  While one of my cousins continues to make fun of the pictures and our wedding, every moment was very special including getting married in the middle of a storm with family holding umbrellas around us to keep us from getting wet during the ceremony.   So, here are a few of the layouts I have done.  I still more pictures and layouts to do, but here are the ones I have done for this hop.

The first layout is the park which we got married in!

Love Me Love My .... Blog Hop

We're so happy you could join us for this super-fun hop showcasing cards, layouts and projects that feature the things that we love !! You'll find an array of ideas throughout the hop -- We hope you'll enjoy each and every project along the way!!

If you've hopped over from Ashley then you are in the right place!! If you've just popped in to visit my blog or are reading this via email and you'd like to join our Love Me Love My...., then please start at Gill's blog so you don't miss one  tidbit of fun! Keep alert for blog candy along the way as some hop stops will be offering some goodies.

I absolutely love my family, but I have often told them and my dear husband when we dating that if you love me then you have to love my Cat.  At the time, I only had Cuddles.   Of course now, I have 2 cats-Cuddles and Kit Kat.  So my project is titled Love Me Love My Cats.  Hubby does love both of our frisky felines and they certainly have our family tied around their little paws.  Especially Hubby!LOL

Ok so enough of my banter, and onto my project.  As I said, I made a layout of my 2 darling felines.   I used my favorite pictures of them, of course, and some fun bright colors.

The Papers are from Doodlebug called Pretty Kitty(Old Paper I had from 2007).  Pink Cardstocks are Bazill Chablis and Fuchusia.  Tealish colors are Color Mates Medium Terrific Teal and Dark Terrific Teal. I used some shiny pink rick rack and Pink and Teal Ribbons.
I made little collars with the Cricut All Mixed Up Cartridge 1 1/2 in.  I ran some ribbon through it and put their names on it with a Pink Zig Pen.   I used a Fiskar Heart Corner Punch.  I used a Pink and Teal Glitter Marker by Martha Stewart to accent the hearts.  I used Martha Stewart Glitter Markers on the title and dies too.  Title was cut with All Mixed Cricut Cartridge at 2 in.
                             Doodlecharms 1 1/2 in                                                    George 2 in

                                             All Mixed Up 2 in

                                            Doodlecharms 1 1/2 in

Thank you again for checking out my project... Now hop on over to Zenita to see what scrumptious tidbit she has for you.
